The following item is a fabulous outsider art painting by Bruce MacDonald. The very vibrant painting features numerous people or figures, all having TV's or televisions as heads. Included in the people featured are Henry Kissinger and a group of Russians both in castle like turrets. There are numerous colorful flying banners throughout the painting. There is a TV headed court jester, a group of TV headed people pulling a wagon or cart that is also a television, and several more TV head people all throughout the painting. It was purchased with two other MacDonald paintings from a nightclub in Pittsfield, Massachusetts (no longer in existence) called O B Joyful's. While this particular one is not signed, the other two paintings were both signed by Mr. MacDonald and dated 1978. The style, technique, and subject matter are the same, so there is no doubt that this is from that period. It's done on a large plywood board and measures approximately 71 5/8" long by about 47 3/8" high.
